Ex-boxing champ arrested...allegedly tried to join ISIS

According to TMZ and BBC, a former British boxing champ Anthony Small, 27, is on trial in the UK for allegedly trying to sneak off to Syria to join ISIS
The 33-year-old boxer was arrested in England along with two other men after authorities say they were trying to forge documents to illegally enter Syria. Small and the two men have all been charged with engaging in conduct in preparation of terrorist acts -- though Small denied the allegation.

Three generations of First Lady's family arrived at London Stansted tonight. Michelle Obama joined by daughters Sasha and Malia and her mother Marian are on a 2 day visit to speak with pupils at Mulberry School for Girls in Tower Hamlets to promote education for girls. This is part of her 'Let Girls Learn' initiative.
Afterwards they will meet Prince Harry and visit David Cameron on Downing Street.

Tragic obituary of young man goes viral

The obituary of a young man who died from a drug overdose has gone viral. The obituary, which uncommonly explains the cause of death, was written for 22-year-old North Carolina resident Clay Shepard after his drug overdose. It noted that his family loved him, but that love wasn’t enough to fight Shepard’s addiction.

First Lady Aisha Buhari has warned influence peddlers never to collect money from people who want to see her or President Muhammadu Buhari.

Speaking on Saturday night at a dinner at the Banquet Hall of Aso Rock in Abuja, she said:
“There is nothing people did not say about the past administration. It is not Jonathan that is not good but the people around him. So, the people that are going to be around President Buhari have to be very careful because this election ended peacefully.

“We are praying and hoping that people around him should know that it took him 12 years to get to that position and they must know that they are coming to serve the masses, not President Buhari.

Chris Rock's estranged wife wants half of his $70million fortune

Chris Rock's estranged wife Malaak Compton-Rock, who he separated from in 2014 is demanding a huge chunk of his $70million fortune and she just may get it because their pre-nup has expired.

According to NYT's PageSix, Malaak is asking for half his fortune so she can maintain a Champagne -and-caviar lifestyle, a copy of her divorce papers reveals.

Malaak said she gave up her career in 1996 to become a full time stay-at-home mum after she met and married the actor, court papers say. She says since she gave up her career to take care of the home while his career blossomed, she deserved half the fortune he made in those years.

British TV star Donatella Panayiotou claimed in a new interview that basketball player Nick Young cheated on his Australian rapper fiancee Iggy Azalea with her. She said she began dating Nick a month before he started dating Iggy and that he continuously lied about being with the rapper.

Donatella also trashed Nick's love making skills claiming; 

"Sex was over really quickly. He's say, 'I just need to get used to you.' That didn't happen." Ouch!

One soldier killed, many terrorists injured during attack in Yobe yesterday

One soldier was killed while scores of Boko Haram members were injured during an attack in Babangida, the Headquarters of Tarmuwa Local Government Headquarters in Yobe state yesterday June 14th.

Over 10 rifles and weapon, three hilux cars as well as hundreds of rounds of ammunition and some Hand Grenades were recovered from the terrorists. A vigilante member died while 5 were wounded during the attack.
