"I am a grieved resident of Road 12 at Victoria Garden City. We have been having flooding issues for over 5 years now. It keeps getting worse each year and after several complaints the estate management are still turning deaf ears on us. On Saturday June 20th, we experienced the worst. The entire first floor of my house has been wrecked. Please post the attached pictures to appeal to the estate management to sort out the drainage issues, especially on road 12. The family of 6 was traveling when their car blew a tire and spiraled out of control, flipped and rolled into the grass. Unfortunately nobody in the car was wearing seat belts. Everyone except their dad, who was driving, survived. Three of the children were taken to hospital via ambulance, while the mum and another child with more severe injuries were airlifted to the hospital. Woman abandons 4 year old Grandchild beside a parked truck

A four-year-old child, who is battling with cerebral palsy has been abandoned at the Ifako-Ijaiye General Hospital, Lagos State.

It was learnt that her unidentified mother had sometime last year left the child with her grandmother, identified as Nike Owoyeni, and fled.

White gunman fatally shoots nine people at historic black church in South Carolina in hate crime

A gunman remained at large Thursday morning after nine people were shot and killed in Charleston, South Carolina, during a Bible study session at one of the nation's oldest and most prominent African-American churches, authorities said.

According to the church's website, Emanuel AME Church -- often referred to as 'Mother Emanuel' -- is the oldest AME church in the south and has one of the largest black congregations south of Baltimore, Maryland.

Juventus star Arturo Vidal has been arrested by Chilean police after he wrecked his £230,000 Ferrari while allegedly under the influence of alcohol in Santiago, Chile. The accident happened last night but thankfully he was not injured. His wife who was with him in the car was also not seriously injured. Arturo only had a slight bruise on his neck while his wife's elbow was damaged.
